Shipping Hazardous Materials/ Dangerous Goods/ Dry Ice

The UCR Hazardous Materials Shipping website is a service aimed at helping campus personnel ship hazardous materials in a safe and regulation-compliant manner. Anyone wishing to ship hazardous materials must use the web-based request form.

Anyone shipping Dry Ice must read the following training guide for Shipping Dry Ice. After reading the guide, complete the test on page 7 and follow the instructions.

If you are unsure of whether your material is considered hazardous, check this listing on the Environmental Health and Safety website or call the Shipping department at x2-3134. Our Shipping department has received the proper training and has the experience necessary to ship hazardous materials.

Receiving and Shipping Department is located in the Corporation Yard, between Watkins Drive and Linden Avenue. Our office hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
